ACAD is an approved provider of disability care registered with National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). We can provide a range of services for anyone living with a disability that will enable you to live the life of your choice. We promote enablement and independence for all and can provide support for general tasks such as domestic cleaning, personal care, respite care, and community access. We can help with going shopping or assist with organising everyday tasks.

We celebrate the ability, strengths and diversity of people with disability. We know that it is important for your needs to be met with the right supports at the right time. That’s why we will assist you to develop skills, build community connections and access key services to assist you to sustain the best living arrangements possible.

With thoughtful planning and individualised supports we help the people we support to live the best life possible. We believe the people we support should play the biggest role in designing their supports, as part of our person-centred planning. Our purpose is to partner with the people we support to change lives for the better.

Supports ACAD can assist with:

  • Assistance in coordinating or managing life stages, transitions and supports.
  • Assistance to integrate into school or other educational program
  • Assistance with daily personal activities
  • Household tasks
  • Participation in community, social and civic activities

    Who can access the NDIS in NSW?

    • The National Disability Insurance Scheme is also called the NDIS.
    • The NDIS is a new way to help people with disability get the care and supports they need to live a better life.
    • The NDIS is for anyone with disability. This includes people who currently receive support, and those who don’t.
    • The National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will work out if you can use the NDIS.The NDIA is the Australian Government agency that manages the NDIS.
    • You can use the NDIS if you:
      • are aged between 0 and 64 years old
      • are an Australian citizen or resident, or have a permanent visa
      • meet the disability requirements.
    • If you are 65 years old, or older, you will not be able to use the NDIS. Instead, you will receive support through the Commonwealth aged care system.
